The giant statue of Tetsujin-28 (aka Gigantor) in Kobe, Japan’s Wakamatsu Park finally wrapped up construction and received its official unveiling last Sunday. Posed like its ready for battle, the monstrous pile of metal stood tall amidst hundreds of spectators.
Originally intended to see the light of day last year, the larger-than-life statue was delayed after multiple problems with funding. However, the immense attention received by the Gundam robot, which towered over Tokyo, prompted organizers to push for Gigantor to eventually claim his place.
Unlike the corporate-commissioned Gundam statue, which was taken down a few weeks ago, the Tetsujin-28 monument is meant to stay as a tourist attraction for the long haul. Erected as both a tribute to the robot’s creator (Mitsuteru Yokoyama) and a symbol of the area’s reconstruction, it was funded by efforts from local shop owners, who raised more than ¥135 million ($1.5 million USD) for its construction.

Her name is Beckii Cruel, 14 years old, and really popular in Japan. Her video was viewed a lot by Japanese through Youtube. It reminds me of the model Leah dizon who went to Japan and become a singer there.
Check this video out that make her popular, she was using Haruhi's costume

Well where to begin, I guess the beginning would be the best place to start.
My life began on April 19th in the year 1965, while my parents and older brother and sisters were living Carmel, California. I don't really remember much about that time, my mom can still talk about how I had a very rare skin disease that nearly claimed my life at an early age but thanks to an experimental drug at the time called cortisone, my life was spared. I remember around the age of 5 or 6 a show called Speed Racer that was being shown over here as well as another called Kimba the White Lion. Though at the time I didn't know those were my first introduction into japanese anime. However at that same time a show from Japan caught my eye and it was pretty much my favorite television show called Ultraman. But the other programs fascinated me because unlike regular cartoons over here in america they actually had people or others die in them. The american cartoons that I grew up on, the Flintstones, Popeye, Scooby-Doo and others were well ok and they where funny but out of those mentioned, only Scooby-Doo will I watch. But even Scooby-Doo suffered at the hands of stupidity by bringing in Scrappy-Doo (pretty much what killed the whole Scooby-Doo show).
