“Goemon” is based on the life of Ishikawa Goemon a legendary 16th century ninja warrior and bandit who stole valuables and gave them to the poor. There is little historical information on Goemon’s life, and thus he has become a folk hero, whose background and origins have been widely speculated upon. The movie version is set to create a new interpretation of the character.
The famed ZATOICHI comes back to the screen once again – ICHI, in a female character. The story follows, Ichi, a blind shamisen-instrument player, always facing people who treat her coldly or try to take advantage of her. However, Ichi stands tall in dignity, and her emotions burst with action with the sword that she swings to fight back. Through the eyes that Ichi cannot see, we reach her soul and the true relief when she finally connects with others by finding love and friendship.
On the surface, Saya is a stunning 16-year-old, but that youthful exterior hides the tormented soul of a 400-year-old “halfling.†Born to a human father and a vampire mother, she has for centuries been a loner obsessed with using her samurai skills to rid the world of vampires, all the while knowing that she herself can survive only on blood like those she hunts. When she is sent onto an American military base in Tokyo by the clandestine organization she works for, Saya immediately senses that this may be her opportunity to finally destroy Onigen, the evil patriarch of all vampires. Using her superhman strength and her sword, she begins to rid the base of its evil infestation in a series of spectacular and elaborate showdowns. However, it is not until she forms her first human friendship in centuries with the young daughter of the base’s general that Saya learns of her greatest power over Onigen may well be her ability for human connection
Last fall, over 3 million people were brought to tears by the movie Koizora. The original story of Koizora, by the author Mika, was popularized on the cell phone novel site, Mahou no Land, and since then has been turned into a novel, a movie, and now a drama. The highly popular movie will be turned into a drama, which follows the life of a normal higschool girl who experiences many unbelievably sad events, but through it all proving that love conquers all, and this true love story remains unchanged from the movie. Not only does it simply portray the first love of the highschoolers, it shows the warmth from the family, the importance of life, the bonds with friends, and the common happenings of teens, and through it all Mika and Hiro's love story gets unwound.
This is one of the movie that i want to see. It will feature Nana Eikura (which i know from Proposal Daisakusen and Boku wa immouto ni Aishiteru) and Eita (from Orange Days). I am guessing it will be really sad story since, it means April Wedding. The bride has the late stage breast cancer which only has one month to live. We will see in the movie what happen next
After solving the Kira case, another serious case confronts L and he has only 23 days left to solve it. A person who obtained the most horrible weapon, “Death God” says the same thing as Kira … “I am going to change the world”. A boy and a girl hold the keys to solving the case and L faces a crisis of global magnitude to protect the kids. He is without his most trusted partner, Watari, and cannot rely on just his superb intellect to solve the case. What will happen to L? What will change? The 23 days are packed with turns of events even L himself cannot predict. The final countdown to the shocking events are about to begin!
This Death Note spin off will come out in 9th February 2008. This takes place ofter the original storyline with the same character of the previous movie. Lenny Kravits will present his song, "I'll Be Waiting" as the OST.
Do you miss FFVII Advent Children? It will come out on Blueray Disc in 2008.. So.. PS3 owner, Bluray's fan.... go for it ! The movie will be completely redubbed.. and there will be more detail added! Can't wait for this.. but I don't have any Bluray Disc Player... PS3 neither.... Y_Y
